I am happy to have been introduced to Eighteen Bridges Magazine and to add them to my clientele.  The magazine is “concerned with people, politics, culture and ideas, it’s articles substantial, in depth, and grounded in the narrative tradition.”  In this feature story, writer Omar Mouallem, examines the practice of hijabi through the story of the hair salon experience of Muslim women.  Omar is a writer and rapper based in Edmonton who recently published a children’s story book and sexy album titled Q without U.
